Public Safety

Through the years the Capitola Foundation has provided funding that allows the canine team to attend the mandated training required by the Police Officer Standard & Training consortium. This is a five-week training course which certifies both the officer and the canine in suspect apprehension and drug detection.

Community Service

The Capitola Foundation partners with the City of Capitola and the Capitola Police Department to enhance public safety and build community. Our Foundation is growing as the needs of our community change. Please consider supporting these important efforts with your time, talents or financially.
